There are many different ways that the MBA program at Augusta State University gives our students the advantage in the employment marketplace. One of these ways is the new MBA Executive Lecture Series. In 2006-2007, the MBA students were given the opportunity to interact with 3 top notch executives. The format was informal; the speakers communicated the keys of their success and the discussion was lively and informative. This dialogue provided rich insight into the challenges encountered and decisions required to direct a successful organization.

In the fall semester, MBA students interacted with two local executives: Mr. Paul Simon, CEO of Morris Communications and Dr. John Reynolds, Vice President for International Development with Club Car. In the spring, we were treated to Mr. James K. Schwartz, CEO of NPC International which is the world’s largest Pizza Hut Franchise.
